Welcome!
All three gardens on tour have their own distinct plan and personality. All three are 100% organic - no chemical pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers are used.
Look for these markers for more plant detail.
Each homeowner has selected 10+ specialty plants to highlight in her garden (look for the slate markers). A quote from the homeowner as to why she chose each plant will be listed first in the descriptions.

- Diana's Garden - The garden was designed to mimic the English garden look and structure with plants adapted to our California climate. It is 100% organic, sustainable and drought tolerant and offers a broad variety of native plants and environmentally friendly practices. Sleek solar panels located on the back of the property fuel the home and the homeowner’s electric cars.
- Maryellie's garden - The home on this extensive property was designed in the style of Greywalls in Scotland. The gardens, planted 16 years ago, have many special elements including a “secret” Japanese garden with koi pond, old and modern roses, a knot garden, a serpentine boxwood hedge, an orchard, and a bee and butterfly friendly garden,
all maintained organically and featuring trees and shrubs with Fall color.
- Susan's garden - This creekside homesite was originally part of the garden of a large estate, with walls and paths built of cobblestones and bricks salvaged from San Francisco after the 1906 earthquake and fire. It is now a rich and varied garden planted under mature California live oaks, deciduous magnolias, persimmons and camellias, offering shimmering and magical views of nature.
Enjoy!
